Mr.Shibu Baby John

 

Minister – Labour & Skill Development

 

Son of late Shri. Baby John who blazed the trail of revolutionary and working class politics in the State and member of Revolutionary Socialist Party (B), Shibu Baby John has kept the interests of the working class close to his heart. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a trade union leader by vocation he has a vast repertoire of experience in ensuring a peaceful and contented labour front and in promoting a labour-friendly and proactive management. It is befitting that he came the Minister for Labour and Rehabilitation of the State.

 

Shibu Baby John started his political career as leader of the youth wing of RSP (B) and in that capacity he led many agitations against anti-people policies. His experience as an industrialist during the formative years and later as a trade union leader of various sectors, working closely with workers of diverse sectors has helped him in developing a deeper understanding of important issues. This has enabled him to develop an insight and awareness of issues at the grass root level.

 

As a person Shibu Baby John is a wild life enthusiast and nature lover with a penchant for travel. 

 

Keen interest in understanding civilization in a bigger canvass, has made him an explorer of history and culture of different civilizations. An ardent learner of Art, Literature, Music and Cinema from around the world, he takes much interest in learning about the great personalities of our times from other Nations.

 

Closely associated with badminton association clubs, he is a passionate lover of sports and outdoor activities.
