Mahesh leads the innovation and engagement practice at NSDC. In this role, he works with training partners to help them reach their social and financial goals. He also oversees the innovation fund, which supports high impact and innovative solutions that can disrupt the skilling ecosystem and/or enhance outcomes manifold, preferably in sectors and regions with unmet needs. He also works on specific high impact projects involving CSR teams, foundations, corporates and other stakeholders. Prior to NSDC, Mahesh led the corporate social enterprise arm of a large conglomerate based in Jharkhand, living there for close to four years. He also started Development Creative in 2009, a peer-referred group for over 1400 entrepreneurs and practitioners in the social space, and continues to co-manage with five other group members.
